Questions we get on the phone
How fast can you get to Austin?
Same-day is possible on leaks that are flooding. Most repair visits land in one to three business days. Call and we will tell you the next open window for your area.
Do I need a licensed irrigator?
Irrigation work on a system connected to public water is regulated in Texas. We send licensed irrigators. Ask for the license number on the invoice.
Why is one zone dead and the others fine?
Usually a solenoid, a cut wire, or a valve that will not open. Less often a controller terminal. We test voltage at the box before we dig.
Austin has watering rules. Can you set the clock?
Yes. Rules change by Austin Water and the season. We set the program to the current days and times you are allowed, then you confirm with your water provider.
Will you work on a system you did not install?
That is most of the work. Builder systems, old Hunter clocks, mixed Rain Bird heads — we match what is in the ground.
Do you test backflow?
Yes. If Austin Water or your utility requires an annual test, we test, repair a failed assembly when we can, and file the report they ask for.
My water bill jumped. Is that the clock?
Usually a leak, not the program. We isolate the run. See leak detection.
Do you cover Round Rock, Cedar Park, and Pflugerville?
Yes. Same trucks. Say the city when you book so we route it with that day's run.
Do you cover the hill country — Lakeway, Bee Cave, West Lake Hills?
Yes. We schedule hill country on the same route. Give us the cross street and we will group it efficiently.
Will you replace the whole system?
Only if the pipe is shot. A dead station is usually a valve or a wire. We price the small repair first.
